Programs at Poppy Behavior are developed using a collaborative approach. Family and caregivers closest to the client are the experts on their unique needs and potential beyond what is seen during the initial assessment. Poppy Behavior respects and values caregiver input and we use this, along with direct data, to develop individualized plans, goals, trainings, and interventions.
The Approach
Constant communication and collaboration with all members of a client’s team is the only way to achieve meaningful change.
Collaboration
Each individual has experienced a unique set of events that has led them to Poppy Behavior. Trauma-informed, caring therapy and consulting allows everyone space to trust the process and the people involved.
Compassion
Programs, goals, interventions, and any changes to these are all done with consent from the clients and their guardians/caregivers. Monthly check-ins with family members and caregivers guarantee that all changes are always approved before intervention begins.
Consent
Poppy Behavior’s approach of collaboration, compassion, and consent touches all services to build a trusted partnership with clients.
